BIOGRAPHY

Emily Anne Garth is one of Australia’s finest, entertaining and most versatile musical-theatre and classical sopranos. She has recorded and released two CDs and has toured the world as a Cabaret Artist.

Having worked with Opera Australia for the last four years, Emily has performed in multiple productions at the iconic Sydney Opera House. Most recently, she has been involved with the innovative Handa on the Harbour outdoor staging of both Puccini’s Madame Butterfly and Bizet’s Carmen.

In the operatic off-season, Emily performs her own solo shows aboard various luxury cruise liners. She’s travelled the world delighting thousands of sea-faring passengers on ships including The Queen Mary 2 and The Queen Elizabeth, Seabourn, Oceania, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Princess, Holland America and many more...

Back on land, Emily also takes her show on the road, touring the theatres of metropolitan and regional Australia, performing well-loved opera arias all over the country. Other than her solo performances, she also enjoys collaborating with other vocal artists around Australia. Emily has performed with 2009 Australia’s Got Talent winner Mark Vincent, has headlined as soprano for The Australian Tenors, and has recently teamed up with classical violinist's for The Andre Rieu Show.

Emily’s current solo cabaret show is a dynamic mix of operatic hits and musical show stoppers. Challenging the stereotype of the operatic diva, she performs famous and well-loved arias with a big-band feel. She captures the essence of opera, splices it with lively popular musical numbers, and tops it off with a whole lot of playful diva charm.

Emily was also a professional dancer and has performed in numerous touring production shows both singing and dancing.
