As a student who is currently training at WAAPA doing the diploma of Musical Theatre, I can confidently say that I wouldn't have been able to get here if it weren't for my several years of training with Emily Garth. Her experience as an industry professional means that her students are getting such a high standard of teaching from her. I know that during my time working with Emily my technique, performance quality and confidence all shot up. You would be lucky to have her as a singing teacher!

I had Emily in my last year of schooling and I think I grew more as a singer in that one year we had together than I had over the 6 years I had been learning previously! She is so knowledgeable and supporting of her students. She challenged me in my technical and performance abilities and I am so grateful for the time I spent with her. She truly loves her students and teaching them.

Emily is the best of the best! She helped me build my technique when my voice was changing and always knew the right songs to select. She was also the best advisor I could have asked for during my HSC, always picking the right songs and giving me honest and clear feedback up until the last moment. She is incredibly kind and helpful and I couldn’t recommend anyone with more confidence to help with singing.
